Mary Catherine McGarvey founded her eponymous design company to bring timeless style and a contemporary twist to residential and commercial spaces. Combining an aesthetic that’s been described as “elegant and inviting” with an ability to connect with her clients, Mary Catherine creates interiors that are true expressions of those who inhabit them. 

Through a careful intake process, Mary Catherine develops a deep understanding of each client and need for the space. She creates an overall look and presents the complete design with a clear execution plan that will bring it to life.

Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, with summers spent on the water in Marblehead, Massachusetts, Mary Catherine’s style has been inspired by the warmth of the midwest and the brightness of the sea.  She completed her design training at Parsons School of Design and began her career managing commercial and residential projects for celebrated interior designers Vicente Wolf and D’Aquino Monaco, Inc. With offices in Brooklyn’s DUMBO, Mary Catherine is currently designing residential and commercial projects in New York, Toronto, and Colorado.
